IMFK & DIEMlife 5k Start

All proceeds  go directly to In My Father’s Kitchen (IMFK), a registered 501(c)(3) organization. IMFK feeds the hungry naturally and spiritually through food distribution and supplying basic necessities. DIEMlife is a social network designed to connect people based on goals, camaraderie, and mutual goals.

Registration Options: $30 On site runner, $30 Virtual runner (T-Shirt Mailed), $10 Bib only runner (Virtual or On site)

-Fill out the form and be sure to enter the name and T-shirt size of each participant in the “Message to In My Father’s Kitchen” box (Bib Only registrants do not need to do this)

Q: Who can I contact about Volunteer opportunities?

Q: Is the race open to all ages?
A: Yes- this is a family friendly event. Minors must be accompanied by an adult who is registered for the event.

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Dogs are very welcome at the park, as long as they are kept on a 6
foot leash and you pick up after them. We have several dog stations throughout
the trail where we provide doggie bags and receptacles for waste disposal.

Q: What does my $30.00 registration fee cover?
A: The registration fee covers the cost of the race and a custom designed T-shirt. All remaining proceeds will be used by In My Father’s Kitchen (IMFK), a registered 501(c)(3).

Q: Can you tell us more about John and RB?
A: The Midgley brothers believed in sharing their passions for and with others. John shared his love for cooking with his friends, family and the less fortunate around him. As a well known photographer, Robert always shared his expert eye and big smile with Syracuse and beyond. To keep their passions and spirits alive, In My Father’s Kitchen and DIEMlife are joining missions to bring friends and family together again for our Annual “You’re Not Invisible” 5k Run/Walk.

Q: Will there be water available on the course?
A: Yes, a water station will be provided at the start area and also the turnaround point approximately (halfway through the course).

Q: Where exactly is the Saw Mill Creek Shelter?

We will start our 5k on the East Shore Trail, next to the shelter labeled Saw Mill Creek Shelter. We will head 2.5k south. Then, we turn around and head back to our Start/Finish point for a 5k. The turn around point will be clearly marked.
